Tour Of My Shop
This is my Shopsmith. I have had it for over 10 years. It is a multi purpose tool. It is 5 tools in one, including sawing, sanding, drilling, horizontal boring, and wood turning. It proved to be one of the best investments I ever made.

And NO - I don't get any kick back from mentioning any Company.

This is my Ryobi Drum Sander. It is capable of sanding 24 inches in two passes. It is a pain to change the sanding strips but if you use a wedge on the drum to hold it in place while you insert the sanding strip, it will be a lot easier. I use it as a finish sander. There are other sanders like this available, but I have had this one for many years, and it still works great.

This is my Delta Planer. I use it to remove most of the wood and finish up with my Drum Sander.

In the back ground is a wall mounted Router Table which I often use as a work table. The Router Table is from Woodhaven.

I use my Band Saw a lot for re-sawing. I use a 1/2 inch blade from http://www.highlandwoodworking.com/

This is my Kreg Pocket Hole Tool. I am very impressed with this product. I use it often, and highly recommend it. Check them out at http://www.kregtool.com/index.php

This is my Kreg Pocket Hole Assembly Table.

This is my 1200 series Ornamental Milling Machine by Legacy. You have to see this in action to believe it. I use this machine to surface one side of rough lumber flat, then surface the other side with my planer. This way, I do not need a jointer. Some of the lumber I use is 12 inches wide. You would have to spend a lot of money to get a jointer capable of surfacing a board this wide. This machine saves me a lot of space and money.
